You are the god and the weight of her world...

Father's Day is always an event that celebrates the men in the family.   Justin started the day doing what  he loves  best - riding his bike :)  Then we took the wrapped and ready gifts over to Aunt Jackie and Uncle Don's to celebrate with brunch, trains, and Wii.

The dads and uncles all received presonalized cookies made by the kids, Ella's tee ball picture and tickets to the third annual Father's Day Angel game!  I love this tradition and the kids look forward to it every year!

Ella decided to make a special gift for Daddy and to wrap it herself!  It was really just a a gift wrapping tube colored with crayons... but she was VERY proud of it and it was "just what I've always wanted" according to Daddy!

Our night ended in true Father's style - homemade grilled Surf & Turf.  Chef Justin enjoyed the fruits of his labor!  Happy Father's Day to my Dad and to Justin -  a great Husband and Father!

Preschool Program ! June 15, 2010

One one one...
You're so much fun fun fun...

Is the song we heard for three weeks leading up to Ella's preschool performance.

Ella was "Nine" and she sang "Nine, nine, nine, you are so fine fine fine!".

The preschoolers were adorable to watch although their attention span was about what you would expect from four year olds.
Ella sometimes sang every word  in her loudest voice) and led the class in the song and other times became very interested in her friends next to her!

The performance ended with Miss Patty giving each child their preschool diploma...

and with a great lunch with Mommy and her classmates!

A season of learning!

Learning how to bat, run the bases, and throw (kind - of... Ella developed a throw that was uniquely her own!) and mom and dad learned all about the life of the parents of a player!

Early Saturday games, rained out practices, snack duty, fundraisers...
but of course, it was all worth it for our little all star!

She and Jake were on the La Mirada Pony League Angels.

And the fans filled the stands!  Lilah was a regular cheerleader when she a took a break from her duties as rollie pollie hunter.

The season ended last Saturday and we aren't sure if we'll be back but these pictures sure show how much fun it was!

... Who would've guessed?

Our third child is on the way and yesterday we had our 18 week ultrasound.
We found out the baby is healthy and active!  We also asked the doctor to write down the baby's gender and seal it in an envelope to be opened in front of our family and friends!

Our Pink and Blue With Some Treats Too!  was so much fun!
