A STAR IS BORN!
My newest nephew will be born by the end of the summer.
I threw a STAR themed shower for Rachel
and the newest baby Perez!

and the newest baby Perez!
Friends and Family helped us to celebrate!
THE FRIENDS! THE FOOD! THE FAVORS! THE FUN!

Preparing for the shower was a lot of work and I sure had a lot of help from Jennie, Janette, Mom, Geneva, and several other friends! The shower was a success and now we wait to meet the little guy!

And then....

Thank you Aunt Jackie for one of the best gifts of the year! Our ladybugs went from larvae to our lovely ladies in just two weeks. The girls watched daily to see the metamorphosis and we even had a bit of scare when the larvae took a "nap" for a few days but the highlight was of course the day of release.

Silly Celebrations!
I'm proud to be an American!
And these SILLY kiddos celebrated on the 3rd once again together at the La Mirada Regional Fireworks Celebration! Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Food, Friends and of Course FIREWORKS!

We woke up bright and early on the 4th to head over the the Greenhills (aka Ancich) Patriotic Parade where we met our friends and family! This year Ella rode her bike with the big kids and Lilah ferociously peddled her oh too small trike and of course Alli Dog kept Justin busy with her patriotic parading!

What a great holiday and to think that next year I'll be back to pushing a stroller : )
We ended at our new friends Michelle and Tony's house for a day of swimming and a night of lighting fireworks.
The girls were adorable with the sparklers and were very safety conscious - making mommy proud!

You are the god and the weight of her world...
Father's Day is always an event that celebrates the men in the family. Justin started the day doing what he loves best - riding his bike :) Then we took the wrapped and ready gifts over to Aunt Jackie and Uncle Don's to celebrate with brunch, trains, and Wii.

The dads and uncles all received presonalized cookies made by the kids, Ella's tee ball picture and tickets to the third annual Father's Day Angel game! I love this tradition and the kids look forward to it every year!

Ella decided to make a special gift for Daddy and to wrap it herself! It was really just a a gift wrapping tube colored with crayons... but she was VERY proud of it and it was "just what I've always wanted" according to Daddy!

Our night ended in true Father's style - homemade grilled Surf & Turf. Chef Justin enjoyed the fruits of his labor! Happy Father's Day to my Dad and to Justin - a great Husband and Father!

Preschool Program ! June 15, 2010
One one one...
You're so much fun fun fun...
Is the song we heard for three weeks leading up to Ella's preschool performance.
Ella was "Nine" and she sang "Nine, nine, nine, you are so fine fine fine!".
The preschoolers were adorable to watch although their attention span was about what you would expect from four year olds.
Ella sometimes sang every word in her loudest voice) and led the class in the song and other times became very interested in her friends next to her!
The performance ended with Miss Patty giving each child their preschool diploma...
and with a great lunch with Mommy and her classmates!
